Retirement Seminar For Macomb County Seniors

Metro Detroit Community NewsMt. Clemens, MI - Macomb County Senior Citizen Services is sponsoring a free retirement seminar that will provide information on financial planning, Social Security and estate planning.

The free seminar, called “Taking the Mystery Out of Retirement,” is 8:30 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, April 6, at the Macomb Intermediate School District building’s south entrance, located at 44001 Garfield Road in Clinton Township. Guest speakers will include two attorneys Thomas G. Hartwig and Marilyn Knak and financial consultant Barbara Fanone. Breakout sessions and 10 exhibitors will offer information about budgeting, reverse mortgages, volunteering, Veterans benefits, prescription assistance and how to start a new business. Villa Bella Senior Community and The Medical Team will provide continental breakfast refreshments.
