Fortune 500 Company Grows With Oakland County Program

Pontiac, MI - Molina Healthcare is expanding under Oakland County’s Medical Main Street program and will invest $16,000,000 in the County creating 337 jobs.

Molina Healthcare chose Oakland County over several competing states in part because of the county’s collaboration with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the City of Troy.

“Molina Healthcare of Michigan is excited to expand in Oakland County and continue our operation in the City of Troy,” said Stephen Harris, president of Molina Healthcare of Michigan. “We would like to thank Oakland County for providing information and guidance in regards to economic data and incentives, as this information assisted us in making our decision.”

County Executive L. Brooks Patterson thanked Molina for its confidence in Oakland County and Medical Main Street.

“Molina Healthcare’s expansion in Oakland County highlights that Medical Main Street remains our most robust Emerging Sector,” Patterson said. “I’d like to thank Molina Healthcare for its significant investment and the hundreds of jobs it will bring.”

Molina Healthcare is the 40th company to invest in Oakland County since Medical Main Street’s inception in 2008. Together, these companies have invested more than $924 million creating 5,405 jobs and retaining 1,656.
