Lane Closures For Bridge Maintenance On I-94 Announced Print E-mail
Sunday, 12 August 2007
Metro Detroit Traffic NewsDetroit, MI - Beginning Monday, Aug. 13, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin repair work on 12 bridges over I-94.

The work will result in intermittent lane and ramp closures on I-94 from Second Avenue to French Road in the city of Detroit.

This $9 million investment in the safety of Metro Detroit bridges will begin by closing six structures over I-94 at Cass, Brush, Chene, Van Dyke, McClellan and French. These bridges will receive superstructure and substructure repair, beam repair, new deck joints, deck patching and pavement overlays. As these bridges close, local traffic will be detoured.
