Macomb County Library Hosts Investing Seminar

Clinton Township, MI - People can learn about the fundamentals of financial investing at a free seminar at the Macomb County Library in Clinton Township.

“Investor Education @ Your Library” is 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5. Topics to be covered at the seminar include popular indexes, stocks and shareholder rights, how bonds are valued and affected by inflation; structure and types of mutual funds; managing risk; how to choose a financial advisor and protect against investment fraud.

People may opt to meet with a professional financial advisor after the seminar for a 30-minute private consultation session. People will need to bring a completed personal balance sheet to the program for the private session.
The Investor Education presentation is made available through a partnership of the American Library Association and the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Services
