Creepy Crawler Program At Macomb County Library Print E-mail

Metro Detroit School & Education NewsClinton Twp., MI - Come see hissing cockroaches and giant centipedes at the “Creepy Crawler” program at the Macomb County Library, 16480 Hall Road near Garfield Road, Clinton Township.

Wildlife educator Dan Briere, who operates the Royal Oak-based Little Creatures Co., will feature his exotic collection of live insects at this free program.

The program begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, and is recommended for children ages 5 to 12 years old. The “Creepy Crawler” program is part of Macomb County Library’s summer reading program. This year’s theme is “Catch the Reading Bug!”

Space is limited and registration is required. For reservations or more information, call the Macomb County Library at 586-286-6660.

The library is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday from September through May. Click on www.macombcountylibrary.org for dates and times of additional programs.
