Eligible senior citizens are encouraged to complete and file the Solid Waste Discount Application before September 15, 2007. Discount applications must be submitted every three years. If a senior completed the application last year, they do not have to apply again this year.

All applications can be completed and returned in person to the City of Detroit’s Treasurer’s Office, Coleman A. Young Municipal Center Room 136 or at any Neighborhood City Hall. They can also be mailed to the Treasurer’s Office, Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, 2 Woodward Avenue Room 120, Detroit, MI 48226.
