Free Hearing & Vision Screening For Macomb County Children Print E-mail

Metro Detroit Community NewsMt. Clemens, MI - The Macomb County Health Department, in cooperation with the Michigan Department of Community Health, is offering free hearing and vision screening for children entering kindergarten in the 2006-07 school year.

Hearing and vision screening is required for children entering school for the first time. Parents or guardians of children who have not already been screened may call the Macomb County Health Department at 586-412-5945 to set up an appointment.

Free screening also is available for any child between the ages of 3 and 18 whose parents or guardians have concerns about their hearing or vision.

All screening tests are by appointment only at the Mount Clemens office of the Health Department, located at 43525 Elizabeth Road.
