Metro Detroit Community NewsMt. Clemens, MI - Macomb County Senior Citizens who enroll in a program Thursday, March 13, can learn 10 ways to protect themselves from getting fleeced.

The free program entitled “Avoid Becoming a Victim” is 10 a.m. to noon at the Macomb County Southeast Health Center Auditorium, 25401 Harper Ave., St. Clair Shores. It will be presented by Chris Misuraca, victim liaison for Macomb County Senior Citizen Services who will discuss fraud and scams committed on seniors.

Registration is required. Supervised care for adults is available during the presentation for a fee of $10 registration is required. Call 586-466-6817 for more information or to register.

This program is part of the “Opening New Doors” community education series presented by Macomb County Senior Citizen Services Adult Day Service program.
