Partridge Creek Mall Welcomes 11 New Stores Print E-mail
Thursday, 13 March 2008
Metro Detroit Business NewsClinton Township, MI - The Mall at Partridge Creek, the area's newest shopping and dining destination, has added beauty authority Sephora, Champs Sports, baby gear expert Right Start, and Taco Bell to its lineup and is preparing the welcome mat for seven more retailers and restaurants this spring and summer.

Most of the arrivals are making their Macomb County debut.

Sephora, the county's only location, offers a wide array of hair care, skincare, cosmetics and fragrances for men and women. It's located near the children's play area between MJR Theatre and Parisian. Across the way, Champs Sports scores with the hottest brands in athletic apparel, footwear and equipment.  Right Start is a Macomb County first. It carries an assortment of strollers, car seats, developmental toys, books, videos, music, nursery accessories and home safety items for infants and young children. It's near Nordstrom.

Macomb County's first Nordstrom will debut on Friday, April 18 at 10 a.m. The 118,000-square-foot, two-level store will offer customers a well-edited selection of luxury and quality fashion brands.  The new Nordstrom will have five shoe departments, an expansive cosmetics area, and a compelling selection of apparel and accessories for women, men and children, as well as a number of amenities and services to make shopping more convenient.  In addition, Nordstrom will have two in-store food offerings for customers--a Café Bistro and an eBar espresso bar.

Others joining the shopping center in the spring to make their Macomb County introductions include:

  -  Bare Escentuals. This cosmetics boutique, known for its signature line of mineral makeup that's free of preservatives, talc, oils, waxes and fragrances, is only the second such store in Michigan. It opens in April.

  -  Chico's. The private label women's apparel store offers fashionable, casual-to-dressy clothing, complimentary accessories and great gift items.

  -  Three Dog Bakery. Four-legged friends are the top dog at this national chain, where fresh-baked, all-natural dog treats are made daily. The bone-ified treats contain no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Partridge Creek and many of its retailers including Three Dog Bakery welcome well-behaved, leashed dogs accompanying their two-footed companions. It opens in March.

  -  The Nail Lounge. Pampering takes precedence in this spa-like setting. Manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, facials, massages, waxing and eyelash extensions are some of the services it offers, along with hot towel wraps, exfoliation treatments and more. Men, women and children are welcome. Both appointments and walk-ins accepted. It opens in June.

  -  Tin Fish. Spawned by the owners of Tin Fish Resort in Fair Haven, this restaurant and entertainment destination promises to please with its seafood know-how, certified angus steaks, live entertainment, dance floor and elevated mezzanine that overlooks the bar area. A kids menu also is available. Outdoor seating in warmer months will be offered as well. It's scheduled to open in August.

  -  Pizza Rustica. Making its Michigan debut is this quick service spot that serves gourmet pizza by the slice or whole. Its specialties include pizza con potate, with roasted potatoes, mozzarella, kalamata olives, red onions, roasted peppers, fresh rosemary and black pepper; New York steak, with top sirloin as its star; and chocolate pizza, a doubled thin-crust pie filled with imported hazelnut chocolate. Organic, whole wheat crust and create-your-own salad are also on its menu. Beer and wine are available. It opens in April.

Other shops and restaurants that opened recently at The Mall at Partridge Creek and are Macomb County firsts include Everything But Water, For Love 21, Love Culture, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Bar Louie. Surf City Squeeze joined the store lineup as well.

"The addition of these terrific shops and restaurants guarantees that we have something for everyone," notes Seok Chung, Partridge Creek marketing & sponsorship director. "We're thrilled to debut them and feel that combined with our present store mix, we provide the hottest shops available."

The Mall at Partridge Creek, Macomb County's first open-air shopping center, opened October 18, 2007, in Clinton Township, Mich., on the south side of M-59 between Garfield and Romeo Plank roads. Anchored by Parisian and MJR/Partridge Creek Cinema 14, it is home to over 80 distinctive stores and restaurants, with Nordstrom opening in April 2008.  The 640,000-square-foot shopping center welcomes dogs. Other unique amenities include: Bocce ball courts, free WiFi, pop jet fountains, a TV court, snow-melt-sidewalks and a 30-foot fireplace.
