That's just the beginning, adds Ms. Russo. The dealership opened a scooter franchise selling the iconic Vespa and Piaggio Italian scooters last week. "According to the Motorcycle Industry Council, scooter sales last year reached their highest annual level ever, estimated at 222,000," she reports. "We intend to be a part of the move toward more efficient vehicles with smaller carbon footprints."

The dealership will be making another addition in the fall, adding Mahindra's clean-burning diesel SUVs and pickup trucks that will further bolster its commitment to greener motorized transportation.
