Livonia, MI - Just opened Johnny's Lunch, located in Livonia's resuscitated Wonderland Village, is marking its official January 22 grand opening with free Hots, a donation to the local YMCA, and a 4 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Livonia Mayor Jack Kirksey.
Johnny's Lunch is located at 29499 Plymouth Road just south of Middlebelt Road in Livonia, MI, 48150. Contact Johnny's at 734-422-7770 or 734-422-7001. Johnny's serves world-class Hots, burgers, fries and more, 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Sunday. Partners Basoukeas and Geragosian have plans to open up to 10 stores in the metro area and have broken ground for a Westland Johnny's Lunch slated to open this summer. Johnny and Minnie Colera opened Johnny's Lunch in 1936 in Jamestown, N.Y. Johnny Colera's grandsons, Anthony and John Calamunci, decided to take the popular eatery national with an ambitious franchise plan launched just two years ago. Today, more than 200 stores are planned throughout Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Georgia. Eventually, the brothers hope to have 5,000 restaurants across the nation.
