Royal Oak, MI - An “egg-stravaganza” of family fun is planned for the Detroit Zoo’s 16th annual Bunnyville celebration on Saturday, April 7, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
New for 2007 is the Jelly Bean Jamboree, a fun twist on the traditional egg hunt. Funny Bunny Games, crafts, whisker painting and animal enrichment activities will also be featured. In addition, visitors can have pictures taken with the Easter Bunny for $6 at the Ford Education Center. Live performances include the musical duo Two of a Kind in the Wildlife Interpretive Gallery Theatre at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., and the musical “Bunny Follies” in the Ford Education Center Theater at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Bunnyville visitors are encouraged to bring a canned or other non-perishable food item to be donated to Gleaners Community Food Bank. Guests with food donations will receive a reduced admission price of $4, parking not included.
